Big changes are in the works to make Stampede Park a year-round destination.
Stampede President Mike Casey tells The Calgary Herald topping the long-term wish list is a central gallery showcasing all the art and historical items currently in storage.
Another item already in the planning stages is an Aboriginal interpretive centre to showcase the culture of tribes of Treaty 7.
Other projects currently underway include a Riverfront Park, a Youth Campus and the Agrium Western Event Centre, all expected to be done by 2015.
