Where do the worst drivers in Canada live? According to an Angus Reid poll, Albertans rank near the top of the bad driver list.
The poll says seven out of 10 people in the province have watched a driver run a red light in the past month.
Only drivers in British Columbia were rated as worse than those in Wild Rose Country.
660’s Ian Campbell asked Calgarians which drivers they think are the worst and got a lot of mixed responses.
After driving all around the country, Barb believes the title belongs to Albertans.
“Unfortunately, as much as every one says ‘watch out for those motorcycles,’ I find the motorcyclists are actually the worst,” she says. “They’re weaving in and out of traffic and they don’t care.”
Gina says she hasn’t noticed one particular group standing out as bad drivers, although she admits B.C. drivers can be a bit annoying.
“They just don’t know where they’re going or they’re looking at the sites and they tend to slow down,” she said.
Another Calgarian says Eastern Canadians are by far the worst, and compared driving habits there to those in New Delhi, India.
