Charges pending in Rocky View crash

Charges could be coming following a crash near the eastern edge of Calgary that sent a motorcyclist to hospital.

According to the Calgary Herald the 44-year-old biker was taken to the Foothills hospital Thursday with what responding officers determined to be critical injuries, but his condition has since improved to non-life threatening.

Officers were called to Wrangler Link and 61st avenue in Rocky View County around 4:00 p.m. after a motorcycle and pickup truck collided.

RCMP determined the 25 year old pickup truck driver didn’t see the eastbound motorcyclist when he was turning south onto Wrangler Link from 61st avenue, and continued to make the turn in front of the motorcycle.

No one else was injured.
