Edmonton police investigate after man shot downtown, dies of gunshots wounds

A man who was shot multiple times in broad daylight near a downtown Edmonton street has died in hospital of his wounds.
Witnesses say two men were arguing outside their vehicles Monday afternoon near Jasper Avenue when they heard shots.
Police say the victim was 33-years-old, but did not release his name.
The shooter fled the area in a black SUV.
An off-duty nurse and a paramedic gave the victim first aid until the ambulance arrived.
Edmonton homicide officers are investigating.
