Former Stampeder in court for assault and break and enter charges

Former Calgary Stampeder Joffrey Reynolds will appear in court again Thursday morning.

Reynolds is facing break and enter and assault charges after an incident with a former girlfriend on July 14, 2012.

Reynolds’ ex-girlfriend claims it’s not the first violent incident she’s had with the athlete.

The Texas native inked a deal with the Stamps in 2004 and was named a CFL All-Star four times.

He was released from the Stampeders in January.

Reynolds faces deportation to the U.S. once his court case is completed.
