Possible break in massive townhouse fire snuffed out

Police have cleared three people wanted in connection with a multi-million dollar fire Sunday morning in the southeast community of McKenzie Towne.
The three people, an adult male and two teenagers, contacted investigators after pictures from a video shot at the time of the fire were released.
Police Duty Inspector Paul Stacey tells 660News they are satisfied while the three were in the area at the time, they didn’t have anything to do with the blaze which destroyed 22 townhouse units and damaged 13 others, along with a number of vehicles.
Investigators will continue to sift through the massive pile of debris left behind, looking for clues as to what sparked the fire.
Officials also admit it’s possible the fire could have been two separate fires.
Damage from the blaze has been pegged as high as $4-million.
Fourteen of the townhouse units were already sold, with people gearing up to move in.
Anyone with information about the fire is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
