Students injured after van crashes into Alberta school

It was a terrifying Thursday morning for students in a junior high school in St Paul, east of Edmonton.
Three patients were air-lifted to Edmonton hospital in critical condition after a minivan crashed into a classroom.
Three students were pinned beneath the vehicle and Alberta Health Services says a further five people were taken to hospital in St. Paul and all have since been discharged.
RCMP have taken the 46-year-old driver of the minivan in to custody, but there is no word on whether he will be charged.
The resident of St Paul was also less seriously injured and treated locally.
The RCMP Collision Crash Team is investigating, but so far there is no word on what caused the van to slam into the school.
