Lite 95.9, a sister station of 660News, is kicking off its 18th Annual Toy Mountain Campaign.
Morning show co-host Mookie says it’s easy to make sure every child in the city has a wonderful Christmas.
“We’re collecting from generous Calgarians new, unwrapped toys at a variety of different locations.” He says. “Whatever you can afford, whatever’s in your heart; I always like to say if it’s in your heart, then give. And we really really do need your help.”
The Toy Mountain kickoff goes Wednesday morning at Bankers Hall, downtown.
Toys can be dropped at Bankers Hall, any Calgary Police district office, Citytv, Fabricland, 5th Avenue Auto Haus, IKEA, La-Z-Boy Furniture, or at Marlborough and Westbrook malls.
More than 35,000 toys were donated last year, benefiting the Salvation Army’s Christmas program.
