Calgary Zoo’s King penguins enjoy wintry weather

It was a happy “first” for some recently acquired critters at the Calgary Zoo and their initial venture into their outdoor exhibit.
The King penguins were right at home frolicking in the snow and cold on Friday.
The Zoo’s Laurie Skene tells 660News, they have four penguin species, including two types who really do well in cold weather.
Skene adds, lineups at the Penguin Plunge are a bit shorter and other zoo buildings like the rainforest and conservatory will give you a break from the colder temps expected this weekend.
