A new project that partners Calgary with the Netherlands hopes to look at how the city’s roads could be safer.
The Safe and Smooth initiative will have university students in the Netherlands study the planning of Calgary’s urban space.
Safer Calgary says traffic-related injury and death is the most preventable kind of harm worldwide.
The organization hopes to hear ideas that could help prevent traffic fatalities in Calgary and put those solutions into action.
