Nut recall issued by CFIA

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued an alert over in-shell mixed nuts distributed under the Loblaw banner because of possible salmonella contamination.

The nuts which are a product of the U-S were sold in 454 gram and 1.36 kilogram packages across Canada.

The agency says there have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of the nuts.
