As of July 1st, the DeVry Institute of Technology campus will be closing its doors.
President Ranil Herath tells 660News, the school is making the shift to 100 per cent online courses for students, as they see an increase in demand for internet-based programs.
Herath adds a lot of students won’t be impacted at all, because they already take all of their courses on the web.
“Then we have a smaller group of students that are doing most of their courses online. They do currently take between 40 and 50 per cent of their courses online, even now. After July, that will shift to 100 per cent of their courses online.”
Until the changeover, the DeVry building on 3rd Avenue Southeast will operate as normal.
