Calgary senior dart champion despite having no hands

She may not have any hands, but she still dominates the dartboard.

77-year-old Anna Jarmics will be defending her title as national champion in her age category at the Alberta 55 Plus Games.

Jarmics lost both her hands as a young girl in Hungary in 1945, when she grabbed a live grenade to protect her brother and sister.

The Calgary senior doesn’t have artificial hands, she puts her wrists together and uses both arms to hold the darts.

The Calgary Herald reports, Jarmics will be competing at Canada Olympic Park, hoping to continue as reigning champion.
