Police may release more information Friday about the discovery of a body in Sunalta.

The woman was found lying in the street at 15th Avenue and 15th Street S.W. around 4 a.m. Wednesday.

An autopsy was conducted Thursday on the victim, believed to be in her 20’s or 30’s.

According to The Calgary Sun, a badly damaged Cadillac found ditched along 12th Avenue S.W. is not connected with the woman’s death, but police have yet to confirm that.
