New store “Targets” Western Canada Tuesday

More than 20 Target stores across Western Canada open Tuesday, including three in Calgary: Market Mall, Chinook Centre, and Forest lawn locations.
Doors open at 8 a.m.
VP of Merchandising John Morioka says their stores are for every kind of shopper but there is one key demographic they “target”.
“It’s Mom as CEO of the household, which means that it’s for her family, but also for herself,” eplains Morioka
A fourth Calgary location in Shawnessy will be open next week.
The big box stores mostly sell products from American based companies, but Morioka says they’re also working with Canadian companies.
