B.C. dad & daughter killed by boulder

A North Vancouver man and his 10-year-old daughter have been found dead after being crushed by a boulder in Whistler while camping.

A search and rescue mission was launched after the pair failed to return from their trip to Blackcomb Mountain over the weekend.

Authorities say the large rock, the size of a bear, fell from a rock face and landed on their tent in an area called the Windlip.

The family has been notified and no names are being released.
