Camp Quality Alberta is looking for volunteers to help with their annual summer camp for kids affected by cancer.
The completely volunteer-run camp is looking for adults 18 or older to help with a week-long summer camp in August for kids aged 4-18.
Each summer in Sylvan Lake, the volunteer organizing committee prepares activities to give kids the chance to forget about their illness and focus on having fun.
Volunteer Registrar, Christy Benoza tells 660News, “compared to other camps where usually you have maybe six campers to one adult companion, we have a one to one ratio so that every camper that we have there has a companion with them and we try to match their unique personalities with our volunteers”
