Missing elderly woman successfully located

A Calgary woman who went missing early Tuesday afternoon has been found safe and sound.

67-year-old Karima Ganji left her home in northeast Calgary at around 1 p.m. to go for a walk.

Ganji suffers from a number of medical conditions and did not have her medication with her at the time of her disappearance.

Police are thanking Calgarians for their help in locating her.
