Parents are speaking out against changes to the report card system in Calgary’s public schools.
Nose Creek Middle School is among several schools part of a new pilot program that will replace numerical or letter grades with new wording.
Parent David Hartwick says he’s getting less feedback than ever, and it’s difficult to know where kids are at in terms of success.
He tells The Calgary Herald he gets the feeling teachers don’t like the changes much either.
Many parents and school trustees are wondering why there was no public consultation on the matter.
