Father’s Day events in Calgary

There are a couple Father’s Day walks and runs in Calgary Sunday.

Starting at 10am at Eau Claire Market, families will lace up their sneakers for the Safeway Father’s Day Walk!

The annual event raises awareness and funds for prostate cancer research and education.

At 9am, the 6th Annual Loops for the Troops Father’s Day Walk/Run takes place in North Glenmore Park.

Military equipment will be on display and any funds raised support the Canadian Forces Members as well as the Veterans Food Bank, Legion Poppy Fund and Calgary Military Family Resource Centre.
