There’s another way you can help out Calgarians in need.
Canadian Blood services will be re-opening all of their clinics Tuesday, including the downtown location on 13th Ave. S.W., from 9a.m to 1p.m., re-opening again from 4p.m.-8p.m.
“At the time, everybody’s looking for some way to give back, they feel they want to provide some support,” says spokesperson Judy Jones. “We’re only asking for an hour of their time, so this is a great way to give back to help restore or even to help the patients in the hospital.”
Jones says they are asking anyone with existing appointments to please honour them if they can.
If for some reason you can’t, please call ahead to let them know.
