Warm temperatures break records in Alberta

It was a hot day in Alberta Tuesday, with dozens of high temperatures set.
Most of them were in communities with weather stations that only go back 20 years, but among the older weather stations there were high temperature records set in Claresholm, Drumheller, Lethbridge, Sundre and Waterton Park.
660News Meteorologist David Spence says the highest record temperature was 35.6 degrees in Sundre, beating the previous record in 1985 by almost seven degrees.
Calgary’s high temperature of 32.8 did not break any records; the record of 33.3 set in 1924 still stands.
