Man arrested in gang stabbing

A suspect is in custody two months after an alleged FOB gang member was stabbed on a downtown street.

Bill Ly has been charged with aggravated assault in connection with the April 23 attack.

Police say they found Nicholas Chan badly injured inside a vehicle on 10th Ave. S.W. near 9th St.

The Calgary Sun reports the 35-year-old was initially in critical condition, but later recovered from his injuries.

Ly is set to appear in court on July 10th.
