Aircrafts keeping close eye on Alberta’s speeders

An eye in the sky could soon be nabbing speeders on Alberta’s highways.
Mounties say they’re launching province-wide patrols with aircrafts over major highways this summer.
New signs are warning drivers their speed may be monitored, with lines painted on the roads to help officers calculate the speed of vehicles.
Highway 2 is a big target, with officials saying speeding between Calgary and Edmonton is getting out of hand.
Solicitor General Jonathan Denis says at this point, the choppers would only be enforcing the rules, and not using photo radar.
