Snow route parking ban continuing

While Calgarians are out enjoying the summer weather, city employees are already thinking about winter.
The city’s snow route parking bans will likely continue in the coming season, with a couple tweaks.
A new report shows that since the policy was put in place in December 2011, major arteries have been cleared one per cent faster than usual.
The Calgary Sun reports, some aldermen want changes to when the bans are called, and when you can start parking on the streets again once the snow is cleared.
The ban has only been enacted four times in its history.
