Three generous donors have kept the free Tim Hortons coffee wave going with three seperate large donations at a place where it is probably needed the most.
The restraurant in High River has received $2,300 in Tim Horton cards.
Earlier today, a person walked into the Tim Hortons and bought $500 worth of Tim Hortons cards, and not 15 minutes later, another person from Calgary called up and bought $1,000 worth of cards.
But, that’s wasn’t the end of it.
Another man called on behalf of a bunch of co-workers at a Calgary company and donated $800.
Co-owner and General Manager of the High River Tim Hortons, Kevin Generoux, says it was great to see all the smiles on the faces of their customers.
“They look twice, they look for the hidden camera, they are looking for what’s going on. Is this a joke, and is this roll-up the rim?” says Generoux. “No, this is Tim Hortons’ customers giving back to the community.”
Generoux says both him and his wife have never seen anything like this before.
