Alberta Wish Ride still looking for riders

There’s still room to “saddle-up” a horse, if you’d like to be part of this year’s Alberta Wish Ride.
It’s the 5th annual ride with the first of 3 events taking place Sunday, August 18th at Rafter Six Ranch near Exshaw.
According to organizer Irene White, it’s a fantastic experience where the proceeds raised will go to the Children’s Wish Foundation, a not-for-profit that grants wishes to children with life threatening illnesses.
“One child was granted a horse, other children have asked for horse trailers, a number of children have asked for trips to Disney World or Disneyland and when that happens, they send the whole family,” explains White.
Over the past four years, Alberta Wish Riders, have raised more than $120,000.
