Weekend stabbing victim identified

A man who died in a weekend stabbing near a southeast Tim Horton’s has been identified.

38-year-old John MacPherson succumbed to his injuries on Sunday in hospital – after he was found badly injured on 17th Avenue in the southeast Saturday morning.

Judah Diew Long, 34, is charged with one count of manslaughter.

Investigators are looking for the public’s help in locating a person of interest who may have information in the case.

He’s described as a black male, 6’2″, wearing blue jeans and a black puffy jacket.
