Mission Possible Foundation closes High River Recovery site

About eight weeks after Mission Possible deployed volunteers to High River following the destruction of the June flood, some good news as the recovery phase comes to an end.
Foundation Director Donn Lovett tells 660News, why the recovery site at the High River Rodeo Grounds will close immediately.
“We have completed what we consider to be our involvement in the initial response since July 3rd and now the recovery response, where we’ve been able to work with more than 3,000 homes in High River,” says Lovett. “Now, we’re preparing for the next phase, which will be the rebuild.”
Lovett says the Foundation is hoping to see the rebuild phase begin in early September and as a non-profit organization is asking for donations of building materials and the time of contractors in addition to cash donations.
