A 15-year-old boy, who led police on a high speed chase back in May, says he’s sorry.
The Calgary teen sped through the south end of the city in a stolen Ford F350, driving erratically, striking parked cars and running red lights.
He weaved his way through traffic, nearly hitting a pedestrian, before being stopped by police at gunpoint in a southwest alley.
A lawyer for the teen says the boy is remorseful, and argues he’s served enough time behind bars and should be returned to the community.
The Crown wants a combination of custody and probation for the 15-year-old.
He’ll be sentenced next week on five charges.
