Fire ban lifted

If you want to roast that turkey over an open fire you can this weekend in the city.

The Calgary Fire Department has lifted a level three fire ban that went into effect a week ago.

Thanks to recent moisture and lower temperatures, the risk of wildfires has eased.

If you’re travelling outside the city, don’t forget some bans could still be in place like the one covering Rocky View County.
