Nenshi takes questions on Reddit

LRT hours, secondary suites, and the number of city Aldermen were big topics in an online discussion with incumbent Mayor Naheed Nenshi.
In an Ask Me Anything on the website, Reddit yesterday, Nenshi fielded questions from hundreds of people.
One user suggested extending LRT hours to 3a.m., to give those leaving the bar more options to get home safe.
Nenshi said he would be open to the idea, but questioned how many Calgarians would actually use the service.
He also promised legalizing secondary suites would be a priority, if he gets a second term.
Nenshi agreed with another person that Calgary may need more Aldermen.
The city has had 14 since 1976, when the population was 470,000 people.
There is now twice as many residents, with Cowtown becoming one of the fastest growing cities in canada.
