Two moose killed at Cochrane wildlife sanctuary

A wildlife reserve in Cochrane is looking for answers after two moose were shot to death last week.

Two moose named Beau and Polly were found dead at the Cochrane Ecological Institute.

Volunteers are baffled, the reserve is guarded by a high fence, and there are clearly marked signs that say ‘no hunting’.

Still, they believe poachers are responsible for killing the animals.

Alberta Fish and Wildlife officers have been called into investigate, and the wildlife sanctuary is also offering a reward to anyone who may have information.
