In the mood for some fine dining?
Consider a trip to Banff in the next week.
For the third year in a row, eateries in the scenic mountain town are staging Bon Appetit, Banff.
“Thirty different restaurants in Banff serve special menus,” explains Stuart Bach of Banff-Lake Louise Tourism. “They have a price fix structure so when you come up you know that you’re a getting a three-course menu for 25, 35 or 45 dollars.”
The food festival has proved so popular, more restaurants have joined the program this year.
“We’ve got extra restaurants involved,” adds Bach. “You’ll find many outside Banff as well, in Lake Louise and in the park itself. So really the offer is broadened this year. Many people come up, make a trip of it, and sample several different places on their trip because it’s such great value. You know, spectacular backdrops, fantastic cuisine, hidden gems. They’re all here in Banff.”
The dining promotion runs through Sunday November 24th, and there are mid-week specials as well.
