Cold temperatures could pose problems for partiers this weekend

They don’t call it the Great White North for nothing.
During the work week it might have been easy to stay indoors but the weekend can be pretty tempting.
E.M.S. spokesperson Adam Loria says if you’re headed out for a few drinks be prepared
“If you have to be outside, whether that be waiting for transit or working, dress in many layers and cover as much skin as possible,” Loria advised.
He says we’ve all probably experienced some form of frost bite but notes it’s usually very minor.
Calgary Transit’s Theresa Schroeder says they will try and keep people out of the cold. But with drivers taking their time on the streets, busses will be delayed and trains will not be running at peak speeds either.
