Police question man who drove into a northeast convenience store

A northeast Mac’s convenience store is open for business, even after a car crashed into it overnight.

According to the Calgary Police Service, it appears a man got into a disagreement with the store clerk, went outside, got into his vehicle and drove it into the front doors.

Detective Dale Seddon said police are close to finding out exactly what happened.

“We have identified the vehicle and the driver of it. They are just in the process no if interviewing him to determine exactly what his recollection of the events that occurred were,” said Seddon.

No charges have been laid.

Seddon said a lot of damage was done to the front of the store but at this point cannot quote a dollar figure.
