Goldring supporting protesters in Ukraine

An Edmonton M.P. is voicing his support for an overseas protest.
Thousands have rallied in Ukraine to join with the European Union while their president is seeking further relations with Russia instead.
Peter Goldring arrived in Kiev earlier this month and spoke in front of 400,000 protesters over the issue.
He tells the National Post he is not anti-Russian and the Ukrainian people shouldn’t be either but says a return to ‘Soviet style trickery’ would be a move for the worse.
Goldring has made these types of trips before and says it is all on his own dime.
