A scary, but thankfully minor situation for shoppers at Sunridge Mall on Boxing Day.
Calgary police say a small amount of pepper spray was released at the shopping centre around 12:30 p.m..
One entrance had to be temporarily closed.
Nobody was directly affected and the doors were opened to let the spray dissipate.
After reviewing surveillance video, police haven’t been able to track down who is responsible.
