Police have one man in custody, believed to be responsible for a pair of thefts across the city on Sunday.
It began around 10 p.m. Sunday, after police received a call in regards to a theft of gas in the Southwood area.

“The vehicle he was driving was stolen, and we found out a few minutes later that vehicle was the one used to break into a liquor store earlier in the day and they found a considerable amount of wine in the vehicle,” said Duty Inspector Keith Cain.
Cain adds the driver will face charges for possession of the stolen vehicle, theft from the service station, possession of stolen property from the break and enter as well as impaired driving.
