Fire crews responded to a large fire at a home on a ranch just south of Cochrane Wednesday night.
The fire was called in around 6:00 p.m. from the LJ Ranch just outside the Cochrane town limits.
Rockyview County Fire Chief Dax Huba told 660News a house on the premises was completely destroyed but there were luckily no injuries.
“Cochrane and Rockyview County stations were dispatched to fight the blaze, unfortunately the house was a total loss, but everyone made it out okay” Huba said.
The cause is still being investigated.
