It was seven years ago this week that Steve Jobs presented the first iPhone to the public.
Since then, Apple has sold more than 400 million iPhone and iPhone sales make up more than half of the company’s revenues.
Since 2008, more than 50 billion apps have been sold.
The iPhone has changed over the years, and the new model, the iPhone 5S, is 20 per cent lighter than the original but 40 times as powerful.
