Partial roof collapse at central Alberta Omniplex

The Drayton Valley Curling Club is the latest site of a collapsed roof in central Alberta although it’s not yet known if snow was the catalyst in this incident.
The Omniplex closed down operations after a partial collapse Friday afternoon and will remain closed for investigation into the damage.
No injuries have been reported and it’s not known yet what caused the collapse.
Massive amounts of snow have been the cause of a few roof collapses this January.
In one case, a barn near Rocky Mountain House collapsed, killing several dairy cows.
The Sylvan Lake Arena also collapsed, completely destroying the back wall and causing a Zamboni driver to flee the building.
