Michael Watterston, duty inspector with the Calgary Police Service, tells 660News the vehicle likely has damage to its hood and windshield.

“A small dark compact type of vehicle that we believe may be a Nissan product,” said Watterston.

Just before 8 a.m., Monday, a man in his late 20’s was hit by a car in the 9900 Block of Hidden Valley Drive NW.

He was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition.
