Instead British experts say adding a few key words to your profile can go a long way to attract attention.
The most effective words according to the team include “surfing”, “yoga”, “skiing” and “the ocean”, as well as the band Radiohead and the movie Pulp Fiction.
As for the photo, men who post an outdoorsy full-length shot tend to have the most success, while women should post an indoor selfie with flattering lighting.
There’s something else the experts say you’ll find on the most successful profiles; good spelling, which shows you’re intelligent and that you take dating seriously.
