SAIT to hold first Pride Day

For the first time in 92 years, the pride flag will wave at SAIT.

The school’s students’ association is hosting the first ever Pride Day Tuesday.

The group received the go ahead to fly the rainbow flag, in support of the lesbian, gender, bisexual, transgender and queer community, in front of the Stan Grad Centre and Heritage Hall on campus.

A statement from the association calls it a “giant leap forward for the SAIT community.”
