C.O.P. shuts down because of the cold

Frigid tempuratures will shut down a major city attraction on Friday.

WinSport has announced C.O.P. will close its ski hill as a result of the dropping mercury.

Other areas of the park, including the Markin MacPhail Centre, the Calgary Gymnastics Centre and Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame will remain open.

A decision for Saturday will be made by noon on Friday.
