Police still investigating CTrain fatal

Police now say a man killed by a CTrain Tuesday night, was not wearing headphones, but investigators are looking into whether there was another distraction that could have played into his death.
The 28-year-old was killed after being struck by a C-Train crossing 36 Street at 12th Ave in the northeast.
According to Calgary Transit, it’s the 43rd accidental death on the LRT system since 1981, and the first since 2011.
Police say the lights and crossing arms were working when the man was killed.
The name of the victim has not been released.
