A deadly crash Tuesday Northwest of Three Hills

A 47-year-old Huxley man is dead, after a two vehicle collision late Tuesday afternoon about 26 kilometers northwest of Three Hills.
His pick-up burst into flames after hitting a Ford Explorer, which was driven by a 60-year-old woman just before 5pm.
According to police, he managed to avoid any burn injuries getting out of the truck, but later died at the scene.
The crash happened at the intersection of Range Road 25-1 and Township Road 33-2.
The woman suffered non-life threatening injuries, and was taken to the hospital.
RCMP haven’t released the man’s name.
They continue to investigate.
