Two people are recovering after a home invasion in Calgary’s northwest.
Intruders burst into a home in the 600 block of Hawkhill Place around 10a.m. Monday.
Joel Matthews, with the Calgary Police Service, tells 660News, one of the people managed to escape.
“She went to her neighbour’s place and asked to call 911, saying that she had some offenders enter her residence and take a few items,” he said.
The three masked intruders then fled the scene and Matthews says they don’t believe it was a random attack.
The home has been ventilated to clear out the pepper spray but no one had to be taken to hospital.
