Two new measles cases in Calgary

There are two new cases of measles in Calgary.
Alberta Health Services say the cases are linked through multiple exposure settings, which include a city-area high school.
Unlike some people diagnosed earlier this year, these latest cases aren’t travel related.
AHS will hold a media availability Thursday to share more detail about the cases.
Four Calgarians were diagnosed with the illness in February.
Three of the four were fully immunized for measles, but some of them had travelled to the Philippines, where there is a significant outbreak of the disease.
